Peruvian Fried Brown Rice

1  package Fortune Brown Rice
1  Tbsp. Vegetable or Sesame Oil
1  Tbsp. Garlic, minced
1  Tbsp. Ginger, minced
1  Tbsp. Shallot, minced
1  cup Asparagus, sliced
1/4  cup Brazil Nut, chopped
1 1/2  Tbsp. Hoisin Sauce
1  Tbsp. Sugar
1  Tbsp. Tamari Sauce
1/2  cup Cilantro, chopped


1) Loosen rice by placing punctured inner bag of rice in microwave for 1 minute.
2) Heat 1 TB of oil in pan or wok on medium heat.
3) Add garlic, ginger, shallots, asparagus and Brazil nuts. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
4) Add sugar, tamari sauce and hoisin sauce. Stir fry an additional minute, keeping vegetables crispy.
5) Add brown rice and cilantro.
6) Continue to mix for another 1 to 2 minutes.
7) Season with salt and pepper if desired.
8) Serve immediately.
